Factor Replacement Therapy
Hemophilia and other bleeding disorders require specialized infusion therapy to replace missing or deficient clotting factors. Our experienced nurses provide comprehensive home infusion services to help patients manage their conditions and prevent or treat bleeding episodes.
Bleeding disorders affect the body's ability to form blood clots properly. Without adequate clotting factors, even minor injuries can lead to prolonged or uncontrolled bleeding.
Treatment can be prophylactic (preventive) or on-demand. Prophylactic therapy involves regular infusions to prevent bleeding, while on-demand treatment addresses active bleeding episodes.
Our nurses are trained to care for patients with all types of bleeding disorders.
